The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of one suspect found with 92 slabs of substances suspected to be Indian hemp. The announcement was made on the official page of the Ghana Police Service on Saturday 10th May, 2025.

According to the report, the suspect who was identified as Bukari Yakubu was arrested at his residence in Akatsi in the Volta Region.
It was during the arrest that the items suspected to be Indian hemp totaling 92 slabs were discovered and retrieved. Additional items recovered were two motor bikes.
The suspect is in Police custody and currently assisting with investigation.
