The confusion has been about how Ghanaian artistes unlike their Nigerian counterparts are unable to attempt hosting a show in any of such huge arenas internationally
Any Ghanaian music lover who has seen scenes of Asake’s performance would relish Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, King Promise, R2Bs, Kidi, Kelvyn Boy etc. performing such shows.

Many in the industry have given varying reasons artistes from Ghana have been unable to attempt such a feat.
One of the successful Ghanaian artiste Fameye in an interview on “The Day Show” in his opinion espoused that the main reason for low turnouts at Ghanaian events internationally is in the nature of Ghanaians. “Ghanaians do not like to attend our shows…They do not like to attend our shows…They prefer to attend other shows instead”

NDA, a popular Ghanaian blogger and social media influencer who is a resident of the United States of America on the other hand, didn’t take Fameye’s opinion lightly.
In setting the records straight, NDA said the organizers of Ghanaian entertainment shows DO NOT prioritize promoting their events. She further stated that promoters pay as low as 200 dollars to people like herself for promoting their international shows on their platforms.

“We have put too much energy…Ghanaian promoters think they are smart…They sometimes wait till about 3 days for the show, then they call us (bloggers) to promote their shows”.
She further stated that she would henceforth not entertain promoting shows for free nor take a paltry sum for her promotional work.
