The road to the 2024 Elections: my perspectives
…life has been a deluge of ideas, a decision of choices, and the exercise of one’s beliefs; and electoral seasons are and will always remain decision moments framed in “The competition of ideas” from the perspective of personal beliefs that inform individual decisions.

Unlike the Western world where governance is a function of practical democracy, elections happen without much drama — as opposed to a crawling democratic government in third world countries which cloud themselves in democracy just in books but practice autocracy and sometimes seem like dictatorship.
For this reason, we must constantly trumpet PEACE! PEACE!! PEACE!!! forgetting that peace in itself is a process. A hungry person is automatically an angry one.

Just as we have been here before exactly four years ago, we each have to assess the country in its entirety and measure same with where we want to / should be and where we are and make choices that must reflect the public good and not for individual interests due to our closeness to power and the benefits we stand to gain thereof.
We shouldn’t gag anyone for their choices under the current circumstances, looking at their current situation and what lies ahead. While we may try to convince others to tow a certain line, we must be fair enough to respect individual opinions and choices.

After the elections, we’ll either jubilate with ‘Pree s3 Pree — Kwen Kwen’ or ‘)da soro h)’; either way, we are one people and one nation.
Regardless of how much you think your vote is negligible, you owe yourself, your family, your community, and Ghana a duty to exercise same to make Ghana great!

Being on the fence would always be a layman’s approach to getting things done and done rightly.
