Sammy Baah Flex, the manager of Charles Nii Armah Mensah- Shatta Wale has made it clear in a Facebook post that the “King already” hitmaker got seriously sick while in London leading to the cancellation of his show in Wolverhampton.
Sammy Flex said Shatta Wale’s illness could be attributed to certain factors such as environmental changes. “He was attacked by flu and cold”, Sammy Flex elaborated further.
In giving further information on the reason the Wolverhampton- (the hanger) concert was cancelled, the artiste manager espoused certain circumstances that further hindered the artiste from performing in Wolverhampton.
“Within those times, he needed prompt medical care” which Alordia, the organizer of the Ghana Music Awards – UK fervently assisted in getting adequate medical care.
The show which was scheduled on the 4th of November 2023 had challenges mainly because of Shatta Wale’s ill health and some shortcomings from the organizers..
Shatta Wale’s illness led to his management’s request for a chopper to transport the crew to the event centre due to the fact that he wanted to perform regardless of his ill health.
The manager Sammy Baah Flex, concluded by saying the arrangement for the chopper was not successful leading to the unfortunate termination of the concert
