Explosion In India At Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention

A bomb exploded in Kerala, India at a convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses, causing fatalities and injuring many of the Christian worshipers on Sunday, 29th October 2023.



The blast occurred at around 9:40 am soon after the opening prayer was offered.

The Kerala police said a man named Dominic Martin has reportedly taken responsibility for the bomb blast.


The police reported that Martin claimed he was part of the Christian group which he targeted.

The motive for planting the bomb on the worshipers is yet to be known by the police.


It is known however, that the bomber used a low-intensity bomb, an IED-improvised explosive device triggered by a timer device.

The explosion as of 29th October 2023 had claimed 2 lives and injured more than 55 other individual worshipers with five serious injuries.

The Kerela police are still investigating the situation further to update the public on the explosion
