Kevin Price Boateng has spoken about his infamous dismissal from the Ghana Black Stars team that played in the 2014 World Cup Final in Brazil.

The German-born Ghanaian speaking on the situation surrounding Jordan Sancho at Manchester United, said the reason for his dismissal was mainly because he spoke to the FA president in a meeting about issues about payment and organization of the sports. And this didn’t go down well with the management team.

According to Kevin, the Black Stars players didn’t get the money they deserved and the football organization was not properly done hence his criticism that eventually led to his expulsion.

Because of his upright honesty, and fearless confrontation, he and Sulley Muntari were kicked out of the team on the day of the match between Ghana and Portugal. He got to know this only when he opened his hotel door as early as 6 am in the morning and found a letter which he didn’t even bother opening.

It was only after he got a phone call from a Journalist friend in Germany asking and actually telling him that he had been kicked out of the Black Stars team.

That was when  he opened the letter to confirm what his friend had told him.
He and Sulley Muntari were given only 15 minutes to pack out of the hotel.

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United player and a panel member during the discussion was however disappointed that none of the Black Stars players supported the two in solidarity when they were kicked out.

With heavy hearts, he and Sulley Muntari packed out of the hotel and went to their respective families.
