It appears Stonebwoy wants to end the year on “vawulence…”
In a video interview spotted on Facebook from Angel FM, Kumasi, the Ghanaian Afro dancehall artiste Stonebwoy is heard and seen ridiculing his counterpart Shatta Wale.
It is unclear what motivated the Ashaiman king to make such a taunting statement.
At a certain point during the interview, the host said he Shatta Wale had traveled to Jamaica to perform with Vybz Kartel. Most likely, that might have triggered Stonebwoy to release a barrage of taunts at Shatta.
Stonebwoy then said he does not need to travel to Jamaica because he’s grown past that stage. Rather, had brought musicians from Jamaica to perform in Ghana. He then mention he brought the queen of dancehall “Spice” to perform in Ghana.
He stated further that Shatta is a curtain raiser because he’s traveling all the way to Jamaica to perform whiles he “the big boy” stays here to invite others to perform.
He scoffed while he kept repeating to the host that Shatta was just going to Jamaica as a curtain raiser.
Perhaps, Stonbewoy has proved he can throw subtle shades at his counterpart anytime he pleases.
Shatta has probably not chanced on the video. If he did, a reply would have followed immediately. His reply as usual may be far greater than Stone’s or better yet in equal measure.
