The aspiring presidential candidate Akua Donkor said in a Facebook video that has gone viral that she would free all loan defaulters who have been sentenced to serve prison time. Most likely she may have been aware of the financial and economic crises that the country has plunged into some few years back, hence her objective.
The determined presidential candidate in a relentless effort in the past had joined forces with different opponents to help wrestle power from the ruling party but has seen no success in her attempt.
But it appears this time, she has couched a campaign message and her objective appears to target prisoners of Ghana. The rational behind her targeted audience may not be readily known, but it appears her main objective is to free loan defaulters from prison.
Wonder how the prisoners are going to react to this…Will they buy her story…?
