Dr. Tanko Rashid director of the elections and IT for the NDC has told members of the press that his party will not accept the outcomes of the re-collation exercise.
He was re-iterating the position of his NDC opposition party of not accepting the results of the re-collation exercise.
So far, the EC nullified 9 constituency results. Out of these nine, the NPP has now won five of them after the re-collation,.
In total, the constituencies under contention are : Nsawam-Adoagyiri (Eastern Region), Ahafo Ano South West, Ahafo Ano North, and Obuasi East (Ashanti Region), Dome-Kwabenya, Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, and Tema Central (Greater Accra Region), as well as Techiman South (Bono East Region).
Dr. Rashid Tanko said to the press at the re-collation centre of the Greater Accra Regional Office of the EC. “We won’t accept every bit of things that is going to happen here. That’s the position of the party,”
