The governor also stated that a separate family member informed investigators that Robinson had previously spoken negatively about Kirk. During a subsequent search, investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel. Most notably, they found engraved inscriptions on casings with the rifle; one message read, “Hey fascist! Meanwhile, a review of since-deleted Facebook posts provides a glimpse into Robinson’s past. Fox News Digital viewed posts that portrayed a life in Washington County, Utah, filled with typical family milestones, birthdays, and school achievements.
Furthermore, by 2021, the posts documented his move to Utah State University (USU). Photos showed him outside the Richard and Moonyeen Anderson Engineering Building.
University Confirms Brief Enrollment
In a related development, Utah State University issued a statement to Fox News confirming Robinson’s brief attendance.
The public university stated, “Utah State University confirms that Tyler Robinson, the suspect arrested in the killing of Charlie Kirk, briefly attended Utah State University for one semester in 2021.”
