This regrettable event has raised awareness of the larger issue of stolen cars from North America. These cars are then offered for sale to unwary purchasers on Ghana’s open market. Wanderlust Ghana intends to work with the diplomatic missions of the United States and Canada in Ghana to solve this problem by launching a public education campaign that will reduce the likelihood of buying stolen cars.
In spite of the setback, Wanderlust Ghana took stock of its accomplishments during the journey, which had traveled 28,811 kilometers through 28 nations in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The team thanked partners, Ghanaian diplomatic missions, and diaspora groups for their support, describing the trip as evidence of Ghana’s abundant tourist potential.
