The Public Utility Workers Union of TUC has sent a congratulatory message to President John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.
The Union congratulated the President on his appointment to the country’s highest office as President.
The Union identified itself as one that focuses on utilities and housing sectors of the country. It also expressed its readiness to collaborate with government in finding a permanent solution to energy, housing and water situation to Ghanaians at an affordable cost.
On the privatization of ECG, PUWU also stated clearly its displeasure on the matter and espoused the organization is better in the hands of Ghanaians.
The statement was signed by Timothy Nyame, General Secretary to the organization.
