Legal Practitioner and Political commentator Oliver Baker Vormawor has been invited to appear before the Appointments Committee in Parliament.
The reasons for the invitation are allegations he made concerning nominees and members of the Appointments Committee.
On 24th January 2025, Mr Vormawor wrote on Facebook and X that Ministerial appointees paid monies to committee members for approval.
- He also alleged on 25th January, 2025 that NDC members on the Vetting Committee took monies from President Mahama’s nominees before approving them.
In light of these claim, the committee seeks for the legal Practitioner to substantiate same.
