U.S president elect Donald Trump has threatened to end the American birthright citizenship
Since Trump won the November elections, he has iterated several immigration laws.

Apart from his plan to deport over 15 million foreigners, he has also said in an NBC news interview of ending the long standing birthright citizenship.
Currently, one who is born in the U.S automatically becomes a U.S citizen.
Many foreign nationals have taken advantage of this provision.

Donald Trump, however, has threatened to end that policy through an executive order when he is sworn in as president in January 2025.
He also threatened to remove families of deported individuals.
He said “you have no choice” but to deport everyone who is illegally in the U.S., including possibly removing the American citizen family members of those deported.”

The legislation of birthright citizenship has long been enshrined in the 14th Amendment of the constitution. Trump’s proposed new legislation would strip rights from those born in the country to undocumented parents.
President elect, Donald Trump, said same concerning the birthright citizenship during his first term as president, but its implementation was not materialized.
It is just a few weeks away that Americans may find out the real feasibility of Trump’s immigration plans
