The Vetting process of Ministerial nominees has been fraught with chaos, violence leading to multiple truncations.
There has also been accusations and counter accusations from both the Majority and Minority.
This time however, the Minority leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin did not mince words in lambasting the clerk to the appointment committee of parliament.
The Minority leader accused the clerk of being partisan and siding with the Majority members on the Vetting Committee.
Hon Afenyo lamented vehemently, “you this clerk, when we were in power as the Majority, you insisted that until you get the Minority, you wont call a meeting. You didn’t even notify us because you are doing your party’s bidding”
His other colleagues urged him on and joined in hooting at the clerk to the appointment committee. The disturbance caused by the Minority truncated the proceedings for a moment but proceedings soon began.
