It was all joy and excitement on 11th March 2023 for the inhabitants of Gomoa Osamkrom, a town that’s 20 minutes’ drive from Winneba junction and 15 minutes’ drive from AGONA SWEDRU .
On Saturday 11th March, 2023 the CEO of Angel City, Angelina Pratt Ainooson launched an estate project that would bring development and employment to the people of Gomoa Osamkrom, Winneba and Agona Swedru.
Angelina Pratt Ainooson who lived her childhood and early adult life in Swedru but has spent about 30 years in the United Kingdom encouraged other Ghanaians in the diaspora to emulate her example and invest in their home country – Ghana to boost the economy and increase development.
Cynthia Morrison, the MP for the Agona West constituency, Naana Eyiah, MP for Gomoa Central constituency and Deputy minister for interior, the Prisons officer in charge at Gomoa Osamkrom prison camp, the Police Commander for Gomoa Osamkrom, the DCE for the District and other dignitaries all attended the ground breaking ceremony which was celebrated with all pomp and pageantry.
The DCE for the district reiterated the housing deficit facing Ghanaians and was hopeful that the project would in its own way contribute to solving the housing deficit problem that all Governments in Ghana both past and present have faced.
All dignitaries in attendance took turns in commending the move by Angelina Pratt Ainooson and wished her well on the estate development project.
