The Ministry of interior has announced a shutting of all land borders prior to the general elections.
The border closure is to be in place up until 6pm December 8th. The is done in order the prevent other individuals from neighboring nations to attempt to vote.

This year, the electoral commission has done all in its power to ensure the integrity of the elections. Hence all measures to make it feasible are being put in place to ensure that.
In this, the ministry of interior will play a crucial role.
The statement was released by the interior ministry who’s head is Hon Henry Quartey. He regretted any inconveniences caused but ensured it is a temporary measure put in place.
