Azumah Resources Ghana Limited has issued a strong disclaimer distancing itself from a circulating document inviting stakeholders to a “Facility Agreement Signing Ceremony” for the purported acquisition of the Black Volta Gold Project.
The event, allegedly organized by Engineers & Planners Company Limited (E&P), was scheduled for 7th July 2025 at the Marriott Hotel in Accra. Azumah Resources has categorically stated that it has not sold, nor is it in the process of selling, the Black Volta Gold Project to E&P or any other entity. The company emphasized that neither its Board of Directors nor Executive Management has any knowledge of or involvement in the event.
Project Ownership and Development Plans Reaffirmed – In its statement, Azumah Resources reiterated that the Black Volta Gold Project remains wholly owned by the company and is a key priority for development. The firm highlighted that it has secured financing from shareholders and has already commenced preparatory works, with plans to advance toward full-scale construction activities. The company urged the public, stakeholders, and media to disregard the unauthorized invitation, stressing that it does not reflect Azumah Resources’ position or intentions. The clarification aims to prevent misinformation and maintain transparency regarding the project’s status.
