The Ghana Police Service has launched investigations into the alleged attack on the Minister of Communication and Digitalization.
The Honorable mister Ursula Owusu’s house and office were attacked and ransacked.
Following the declaration of the General Election results on Monday, an alleged vandalizing on her home took place on Monday.
Many items were destroyed and others presumably stolen from the residence.
Though it is not certain, the attack has been linked to a likely election related violence.
A statement from the police said “Currently, a targeted intelligence-led operation is ongoing to get the suspects arrested to face justice, and we assure the public that we will get them,”
The police also confirmed they have contacted the minister saying “Meanwhile, the Police leadership is in contact with her, and security at her office and residence has been beefed up to ensure her safety,”
