The flagbearer of the NPP ruling party Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia has conceded defeat to Dramani Mahama
A social media post on the handle of the opposition leader revealed the message.

John Dramani Mahama revealed that Dr. Bawumia had called to congratulate him in the morning of Sunday signaling a concession of defeat.
Many have hoped for such a concession early in the collation. Such concessions bring big relief to citizens and allays all uncertainties that are characterized by African elections.
This further solidifies Ghana’s strong will to uphold high standards in democratic rulership in the sub saharan neighboring countries.
