Ghana’s Electoral Commission boss Jean Mensah, will speak on the commission’s readiness for the December, 2024 elections.
Graphic commissions group and the electoral commission will be hosting stakeholders at its national development series 10am, Wednesday 27the November, 2024 at the British Council.
The theme for the event is “Sustaining Civic & Democratic Governance System for Development, Mandate of all citizens”
The National communications group (Graphic) organizes such non partisan development programs to discuss issues of national interests.
The previous edition that was organized focused on the educational system of our country. The other two have focused on agriculture and health.
This is the fourth and last edition for the year 2024.
Some stakeholders that will be present at the event are political parties, officials of the EC, National Security officials, local authorities, traditional leaders and religious figures.
The main objective of these programs is to provide critical information on these topics by expects and other stakeholders devoid of any biases, specifically political biases.
Additionally, it is to inform citizens of the EC’s commitment and readiness to conduct a free and fare election. The program is also to boost the confidence of electorates and other stakeholders of the commission’s readiness to conduct the elections.
The Ghana National Development Series from Graphic is in direct line with the mission to move conversations about Nation building and developmental issues.
