Kwasi Ernest, an artiste manager, CEO of Media Excel, and a member of “the table of men”, the dominant coalition that advocates for musicians in the gospel fraternity in Ghana has descended on Ghanaian youths on rampant illicit lifestyles.
During a conversation with Doreen Avio, the host of Hitz FM’s Daybreak hitz morning entertainment show, Mr Ernest passionately spoke about the Ghanaian youths’ attitude of overindulgence in unhealthy lifestyles that are detrimental to their health and total well-being.
Mr. Kwasi Ernest who was commenting on the ill health of Moesha Buduong further espoused that most of the misfortunes that befall members in the entertainment fraternity can be averted if unwholesome lifestyles are replaced with ones that are wholesome and modest
A pivotal point of his argument was the subject of the youth abusing alcoholic beverages and aphrodisiacs in the name of ‘having fun’. He spoke particularly about the use of recreational drugs like shisha, which has gained much popularity among the Ghanaian youths.
The artiste manager bemoaned the recent advocacy of a lifestyle that is fully centered on sex, alcohol and the constant trumpeting of material possession as sources of happiness.
He further stated that most of the advertisements on radio and TV either focus on promoting alcohol or illicit lifestyles.
Mr Kwasi Ernest vowed to embark on a campaign to create awareness of the dangers of an illicit lifestyle.
