Showboy, the controversial Ghanaian artiste and socialite has been arrested and detained by the Ghana Police Service. He was arrested together with his former artiste Kaytee.

The arrest came after the two were engaged in a violent brawl that left both of them seriously injured. Both have been placed under two weeks of police detention.
The punishment was handed down earlier today, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, by the Oda Magistrate Court in Ghana’s Eastern Region, according to a video that surfaced on social media pages.

Prior to this sentencing, the two had been seen earlier in a confrontation that escalated dramatically, culminating in Showboy biting off a part of Kaytee’s ear while he was also stabbed at the back.
Peer Counselling
In the video that has surfaced online, Showboy was seen advising the youth to avoid violence when resolving conflicts.

Showboy, also referred to as “The Adanko Gang boss” urged young people to seek legal and peaceful means of resolving disputes, even, he admitted in the same clip that he was aware that he will struggle to take his own advice.
