Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, acting clerk to parliament has summoned parliament for its first sitting.
This was done through a letter from the parliamentary service dated on 3rd January 2025. The acting clerk to announced that the first meeting of the ninth parliament will take place at 12:05am of Tuesday 2025.
The first sitting is said to elect the Speaker and Deputy Speakers as well as the administration of Oaths to the Speaker and Members of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
