According to H.E President John Dramani Mahama, only one hospital under the Agenda 111 project has been finished since his administration entered office.

The President said the country would need a total amount of $1.7 billion in order to complete the remaining hospitals.
He said “The previous government started Agenda 111 but has not been able to finish the hospitals. There are so many of them unfinished. Even the ones they commissioned don’t have a single bed. Now we need 1.7 billion US dollars to complete the Agenda 111 projects,”

The President revealed this during a meeting with the Christian Council. He urged churches to collaborate with government in completing the hospitals that are uncompleted. Mr. Mahama also espoused that the hospitals when completed would be managed by the religious bodies that collaborated in completing them.
