Huge amounts of cash in cedis, dollars and gold bars have be discovered and seized by the National security.
The items were found in 20ft shipping containers in a warehouse at Sapeiman, Accra following a tip-off and a special operation.
During the operation, covered and sealed boxes containing additional currencies in dollars and cedis suspected to be counterfeit were also found.
Additional boxes containing suspected gold bars were also found.
So far, National Security operatives have reported that 2 containers are unaccounted for whiles suspects are on the run and being perused.
