The requirements for visas to most countries may be similar. The underlying factor that guarantees an applicants return to their home country is what matters to the consulate office.

With tourist visas being abused by most immigrants, requirements become more tighter to discourage migration.

Normally, a hotel booking, and a flight booking should suffice for a tourist visa. But the chances are that if the consular is not soo convinced about the applicant, the reason : “justification for purpose of visit and conditions of intended stay was not provided, or was not reliable could be inserted in your application as reasons for denial”.

Hence some tour operators buy packages for their clients, but it still cannot be reliably dependent.

The main clue to this dilemma is to have strong ties back home: most especially, a lucrative employment or a business.

A tour package may be an added advantage, but I guarantee you, it would in no way blind the consular office from finding more significant loopholes in your application.
