A gory motor accident at East Legon near the Omama shop street killed 2 people on Saturday 12 October 2024.
A jaguar on high-speed run into an Acura hitting an electric pole trapping the two ladies at the back of the car and causing a fire. The Acura and two passengers burnt beyond recognition. The driver however survived and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
A CCTV camera nearby captured the Jaguar on a high speed, missing other road users by inches and running into the semi-immobile Acura at a T junction.
Additionally, details emerging reveal that the driver of the jaguar that run into the Acura is alleged to be Erald Elisha Amoako, a 16-year-old son of a religious leader and prophet, Elisha Salifu Amoako.
The driver of the Acura, Erald, and his companion have been sent to the hospital for serious injuries.
Meanwhile, power supply to the area had to be cut to prevent further incidence or injuries because the electric wire that caught fire still had power in it
