In a Press release dated 20th December, 2024, TV3 has cautioned Mr Allotey Jacobs on an alleged bribery post. The TV station revealed that the political commentator wrote on his Facebook page that the station was bribed to the tune of 6 billion Cedis by the NDC opposition party to make the NPP presidential candidate Dr. Bawumia unpopular. The station asked the politician to delete and withdraw the statement and apologize or face legal action. The statement was signed by Sena Edekor, head of legal.

The NDC opposition party has released a press statement rejecting the results of the re-collated parliamentary elections. The party has further called the re-collation exercise illegal and manipulation. Another attempt by Afua Asantewaa to break the Guinness record for the longest singing contest by an individual has began in Kumasi. The media personality officially started the challenge on 21 December, 2024 at dawn. It is expected to end on the 25th December, spanning about four days.
