A young GIJ lecturer is in need of urgent financially assistance to undergo a kidney transplant in India.
The lecturer Mr Philip Atawura was diagnosed with End Stage Polyestic Kidney Disease at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in August 2021 and has been on Dialysis as Temporary measure.
The estimated cost of the kidney transplant and other medical and travel expenses amounts to GHC 700,000.00
All things being equal, the transplant is scheduled to take place during the first week in June 2023.
He therefore appeals to the Public, Religious Bodies, Cooperate Ghana, Celebrities, Politicians, NGOs etc. for financial assistance to carry out the kidney transplant
