A former associate of the late investigative journalist Ahmed Suale, at Tiger Eye PI, (Daniel Owusu Koranteng) has been charged with murder in connection with Suale’s death
He is accused of causing Suale’s death through unlawful harm. He is said to have sold pictures of the deceased to the former MP Kennedy Agyapong few weeks before his death.
According to information from prosecutors, Koranteng was allegedly near Suale’s residence in Madina before and at the time of the fatal shooting.
Reports indicate that he (Daniel) left Madina, where Suale was killed for his home in Amasaman around 11 p.m. that same night. Authorities also claim he evaded police invitations and fled to the United Kingdom in 2019.
Reports indicate he was later arrested in March 15 2025 after his return to Ghana.
One legal representation for Mr. Koranteng was in the studios of Metro TV’s “Good Evening Ghana” program to make a case for the accused.
