The Trade Union Congress (GHANA) has issued a statement condemning attacks on some public sector workers.

In the statement, the Union also mentioned vicious destruction to state properties and manhandling of well-meaning Ghanaians in their offices and residences by so called “party foot soldiers”.
The Union called on the President to to go beyond the condemnation of the violent acts by empowering and directing the Ghana Police Service to arrest and prosecute people who hide behind their party colors to destroy state properties and engage in unwarranted attacks on innocent Ghanaian Workers.
