Black Sherif has sparked controversy after winning the Artiste of the Year in the just-ended VGMA 24 organized by Charter House in Ghana.
The newly crowned artiste of the year who performed to a large crowd in New York made headlines not only about his energetic performance but also about an image that was displayed in the background during his performance.
The image purported to be that of Baphomet, a deity being worshipped by the Knights Templar that subsequently became incorporated into various occult and Western esoteric traditions.
There are many who suggest that one who displays such an image, (especially for a known public figure) has been inducted into the Illuminati society, has sold his soul to the Devil and is on the path of huge success.
A cross-section of Ghanaians has expressed worry about the artiste’s supposed association with the Illuminati society
Well, in times past, similar opinions were thought of concerning Sarkodie after he became considerably successful in his musical career.
But one would wonder why in the world the artiste and his management would display such an image in the first place.
Could it just be for the show and to get people talking or its indeed for real?
