The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, Republic of Ghana, under the leadership of Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor, is set to host Africa Oil Week 2025.

This event is the continents largest energy event focused on upstream development and finance.
The occasion is set to begin on 15th – 18th September 2025 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
The Energy ministry revealed that this high level gathering will bring together Ministers, National Oil Companies, regulators and private sector leaders to unlock investment, drive strategic energy partnerships and shape the future of Africa’s upstream industry.

The event is expected to provide a world-class platform for African governments to promote upstream opportunities and for the private sector to explore investment prospects across the regional energy sector.

Ghana’s new government will also have the opportunity to outline its vision for positioning the country as one of the most competitive upstream destinations through progressive regulations, incentives and policies.
