The Ghana National Fire Service has released a statement saying it does not charge fees for attestation.
The organization said there has been complaints that it’s office at the Accra City Fire Station has demanded monies from some individuals for attestation letters.
Particular attention was given to victims of the recent Kantamanto market inferno. The victims or any other persons can request for such a letter without making any form of payments. Complainants or any suspicious activities can be reported to the Public relations office to the number 0509608744 as advised by the service.
The organization assured the general public of its dedicated obligation to maintain public and private safety. The public is also assured of a proper investigation and punitive action for individuals found culpable.
