ENO BARONY, a formidable Ghanaian female rapper who has been compared to the likes of Sarkodie and Medikal said in and interview with Doreen Avio of Hitz FM’s daybreak entertainment show that she is not perturbed by the VGMA categorization and nomination which didn’t go in her favour.
For a female rapper to be compared to Sarkodie and Medikal is one BIG DEAL, no surprise she hasn’t given up.
Life is not easy, it is even more difficult when one wants to stand out with his or her talent and be celebrated. It becomes extra difficult for females contending with men in “a male dominated” world for attention.
The 2023 VGMA music awards has not come without any controversies, it never does anyway.
Though Eno Barony used diplomatic words to describe her sentiments on how she couldn’t make it for a particular category, she insisted that she is not disappointed hence would be focused on producing good music instead of crying over spilt milk.
Eno however believes that at least she could have been nominated for the Hip Hip artiste of the year

Robert Klah, the head of Public Events and PRO at Charter House, the organizers of the VGMA awards scheme clarified that there could be a chance for a likely consideration in connection with the one week window offered for correction.
