Hopeson Adorye, a member of the NPP government has given an account of Dampare’s actions that contributed to his removal as the Inspector General of Police.
President Mahama terminated the appointment of the IGP three months into power.
The termination came as a shock to many Ghanaians because the IGP has been touted as the best the country has ever seen.
Contrary to the popular opinions of many Ghanaians that Dr. Dampare is the best IGP, several police officers have jubilated over the removal of the IGP.
Hopeson Adorye, has also waded into the controversial dismissal and given his own account of the IGP’s conduct.
