President John Dramani Mahama has reconstituted the Board of Directors of the Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas), appointing former Electoral Commission Chairperson Charlotte Osei and eight other prominent figures to steer the company’s operations.

The appointments of the new board is to strengthen corporate governance and operational efficiency, ensure sage and environmentally compliant gas processing and distribution as well as support Ghana’s energy transition and economic growth.
Government also aims for the board to oversee the Institution’s focus on debt recovery and financial sustainability, addressing past liquidity challenges
