Apostle Kwadwo Safo is Our God – A Tribute Sparks Theological Debate
Apostle Kwadwo Safo is our God – Following the unfortunate passing of celebrated Ghanaian inventor and preacher, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, a past video interview of Ghanaian actor and television personality, Akrobeto, has resurfaced online, sparking conversation and reflection.
The Viral Interview Question
In the resurfaced clip, an interviewer directly asks Akrobeto why many of his followers revere the late Apostle as their God.
In his characteristic thoughtful manner, Akrobeto responded affirmatively, nodding his head in agreement. As a follower of the Apostle himself, Akrobeto explained that this view is justified because, in his belief, God resides within humans. He then posed a profound counter-question to the interviewer: “Have you seen God before?”, “Where is God”?
A Philosophy of Earthly Helpers
Akrobeto’s response delved into a perspective on divinity rooted in gratitude and human experience. His intended meaning, as he elaborated, was that “whoever has been your helper is your God.” The actor stated that when people do good deeds, it is God working through them.
Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Has Died
He argued that God does not physically come down to perform good acts but rather acts through human beings. In this context, Akrobeto said it is valid for people to see Safo Kantanka as their God, as he embodies the qualities and actions they attribute to divine intervention.
