Ghanaian man loses job opportunity due to his typical African accent. The man said he attended an interview where he was hopeful of securing the job. With a lot of experience, he had high hopes. However, he was met with disappointment when he lost the opportunity. He was denied the job due to his African accent. The African man claimed it was explained to him that since he would be dealing with customers who are predominantly Americans it was not a good idea for him to be hired. The job was rather given to a younger applicant who spoke with the American accent.
