The Ghana Police Service has announced comprehensive security measures for the upcoming parliamentary re-run in the Ablekuma North Constituency, scheduled for Friday, 11th July 2025.
In a press release issued by the Accra Regional Police Command, the public was assured of adequate security before, during, and after the election. Police personnel will be deployed to all 19 designated polling stations to ensure peace, law, and order, with additional measures in place to monitor vehicular and pedestrian traffic around voting areas. Strategic barriers will also be erected to prevent unauthorized access to polling centers.
The police have called for full cooperation from the public, urging voters to adhere to electoral rules and maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the process.
