Life is hard.
Indeed, it is even harder to make ends meet.
People do not often get double chances in life. Hence the popular saying “Opportunities come, but once”.
It however appears funny face is an exception to this rule. To every rule, there is an exception indeed. He has had double, triple, and perhaps multiple chances in life.
The comedian has seen a lot of success in his career path. From his early comedy days to the Chorkor trotro series, cow and Chicken series, then a brief and successful musical career. He did it all.
He has enjoyed a close association with “heavyweights” in the Ghanaian entertainment industry like Bola Ray and Fadda Dickson etc. He has also enjoyed an enviable friendship with Togolese international footballer Emmanuel Adebayor.
He however had a mental breakdown as a result of his marital problems with his estranged wife Vanessa which saw him hospitalized.
He came back and appeared on social media on many occasions looking and feeling ready to pick up the pieces of his life and continue his hitherto glorious career. Even after a terrible accident which almost got him in jail, but was eventually remanded for about two weeks, against all odds, managed to bounce back and mend his soured relationship with those he offended.
This opened multiple chances for him again.
One other opportunity that came his way was the company of the Gyan brothers who loved and welcomed him wholeheartedly.
He even created “Ekow, go this way, ekow come this way” which saw lots of Ghanaian celebrities mimicking same.
His opportunities got better when Dan Kwaku Yeboah, featured him on his maiden comedy show on 23 Aug 2024 at the Conference centre.
All who thought the comedian was back on track might have predicted too early.
Social media was buzzing on Monday 9 sept 2024 when multiple videos of him surfaced as he grossly rained insults with all kinds of profanity on his baby mama and his mother-in-law.
This time however, he managed to get Medikal on his bucket list of insults accusing him of having amorous relationship with his estranged wife Vanessa.
He also displayed what appeared to be Indian hemp and declared himself the champion of weed. Funny Face also denounced his self acclaimed position as the “children’s president”.
This recent outburst has made viewers question his mental state yet again.
He seems to have pressed the self-destruct button.
