The City of Los Angeles has become an apocalyptic scene.
On Tuesday, six separate deadly fires annihilated parts of the city and its luxurious properties. Many celebrities including Paris Hilton have lost their homes.
A man and and three family members including his mother and uncle have all lost their homes.
In this tragic event, CNN has reported that 11 individuals have lost their lives. Officials have also reported that the number of fatalities may be a lot worse.
LA fire officials also say until the city is evacuated and and a thorough investigation carried out, the true state of the devastation may not be known.
So far, reports form U.S also indicate that more than 300,000 people are under evacuation orders. More than 10,000 homes have also been destroyed by the fire. Entire neighborhoods have been obliterated with residents left in despair.
More than 5,600 students have been displaced because 12 schools have been destroyed.
Though more than 58 square miles have been burned, the winds that fanned the flames are expected to weaken by Friday but pick up again on Saturday night.
Thankfully, the winds have subsided and most of the 6 parts of the fires are slowly getting under control. It is hopeful that the winds do not blow heavily again on Saturday as predicted.
