After traveling to London, United Kingdom, for medical treatment, Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has returned to Ghana in good condition.
After a preliminary visit at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), she sought additional care in the UK on her medical leave, which ends with her arrival.
President John Dramani Mahama, First Lady Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Vice President’s Chief of Staff Alex Segbefia, and other high-ranking government representatives greeted her at the airport.
The vice president’s family and the Methodist Church’s presiding bishop were also at the airport.
During her succinct speech, the vice president thanked Ghanaians for their prayers, thanked her doctors and the UGMC medical personnel, and thanked President Mahama and his younger brother, Ibrahim, for their care, support, and consideration.
