The President of The Republic of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama has made his first ministerial appointment.
The list was released on a statement dated Thursday 9th January 2025 from the Presidency Communication. A lot of political communicators predicted that Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson would be heading the the finance ministry. And truly, president Mahama has assigned him that ministry.
In a similar expectation, John Abdulai Jinapor has also been assigned to overseer the energy ministry. This ministry at the moment has a lot of pressing needs. As earlier reported by the minister designate, the country may be in darkness due to non purchase of oil to power generators.
So far, the president has made three official ministerial appointments. This includes the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General.
