The Kumbh Mela is widely regarded as the world’s largest religious gathering.
It has officially began in India in 2025. The pilgrimage is a 45 day festival which will occur in the city of Prayagraj.
The festival occurs in India every 12 years and considered as the world’s largest gathering of humans anywhere on the planet.
The gathering is made up of millions of Hindus, mystics and holy men and women from all over the world.
They will all gather at the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers is Prayagraj and bath in the waters believed to cleanse the soul and purify the spirit
Over 400 million Pilgrims are expected to gather for the religious event.
