On Wednesday, Sean Combs’ trial entered its third day, and singer Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, gave more vivid testimony about how the suspect mistreated and sexually assaulted her.
R&B singer Casandra Ventura, known as Cassie, presented her second day of testimony as the prosecution’s major witness in the sex-trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs
Cassie talked about the beatings and sexual abuse she claims to have endured during the relationship, as well as the negative effects it had on her physical and emotional well-being.
Ventura detailed incidents in which she claims Combs raped and beat her over the course of their more than ten-year relationship in graphic and cruel terms.
Videos of the alleged “freak-offs”—sexual sessions with male escorts that Cassie claims Combs demanded, paid for, and recorded—were played to the jurors in the case.
Cassie previously stated in court that Combs mistreated her during the sessions and that recordings of the incidents were then used as extortion.
Combs is accused of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting people to engage in prostitution.
Ventura had finished being questioned by the prosecution and will take the stand again on Thursday to be cross-examined by Combs’ attorneys.
Meanwhile, The 55-year-old disputes every accusation.
Sources indicate that Sean Combs might be imprisoned for the rest of his life if convicted.
